Premise 1

Matthew 12:16-18 (New International Version)

16 He warned them not to tell others about him. 17 This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:

18 “Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight;I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations.

Premise 2

Isaiah 42:19 (New International Version)

19 Who is blind but my servant, and deaf like the messenger I send? Who is blind like the one in covenant with me, blind like the servant of the Lord?

A hidden meaning that may surprise many Christians is that the Hebrew interpretation of this verse refers to Jesus, the son of Mary, as a Muslim (one who submits to Allah). This also suggests that the translation of biblical verses from Hebrew and Greek to English introduces complexities that can hinder the understanding of the Bible.

Premise 3

John 17:3 (New International Version)

Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
